SUMMER SOOTHING JALJEERA

Jaljeera is an Indian beverage, it is not only palatable but also a great appetizer. It is a perfect combination of refreshing ingredients like coriander, mint, ginger, lemon,green chilli,raw mango(kachi keri) and tempting spices like cumin, asafoetida (hing), carom seeds, clove.
So,How this tempting jaljeera is great for digestion?

Jaljeera: jal - water jeera - cumin
it has many spices in it and all of them have many different medicinal values like promote digestion, antioxidant, improve metabolism, induce weight loss, antiseptic etc. all above it has perfect combination of taste salty, sour, spicy.
So, lets make this drink at home with this easy recipe.
TIME:10 min serve: 6 glasses
INGREDIENTS:

Coriander: 100gm
green chilli: 4 piece
mint: 8-10 leaves
raw mango(kachi keri): 1(small)
ginger: 3' inches
ice cold water
ice cubes
bundi
cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
asafoetida(hing): 2 pinch
roasted cumin powder: 1/4th tsp
clove: 2 pieces
METHOD:
In a mixer grinder jar put 100 gm of fresh washed coriander leaves, green chilli, mint, cut pieces of raw mango into it , grate ginger. Add 1/2 tsp of roasted cumin powder, 2 pinch of asafoetida (hing), salt {according to taste}. Then grind all this until it become a puree.
Now we have to add jaljeera powder. so you can buy it from market or can make easily at home. i prefer to make it at home so here's the recipe.
Jaljeera powder:
In a pan roast 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 2 clove, 1/4 tsp carom seeds. roast them until you start getting the fragrance of flavours . Now take them out of pan , cool them and grind in mixer. you can make more of it in one go and store it in cool, dry and in air tight container.
Now add this masala in the puree we prepared and again take a nice mix in grinder.
After this take it out in a bowl and add iced chilled water, give it a nice stir.
You can add lemon and more of salt according to your taste as you like.
(Put ice cubes only if the water is not cold)
Serve in the glass and garnish it with bundi.
